Current Work

I was recently hired by Fulcrum Genomics as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist.

Past Experience

I graduated with a PhD in CS from the University of Michigan in 2024 (4.00 GPA), where my research was funded by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship ($37,000/yr). My thesis work focused on computational problems related to human whole genome sequencing, including: alignment, variant calling, evaluation, and nanopore sequencing. Prior to graduate school, I received my BS in CS and EE from Clarkson University in 2019 (3.99 GPA), where I was awarded a Goldwater Scholarship ($7,500/yr) for my undergraduate research.
